Honey Birdette is a luxurious brand of Australian lingerie. Their e-commerce site has revealed their intention to increase their retail portfolio in the United Kingdom. Honey Birdette currently ha three stores and plans to increase this number to forty by the time 2018 comes to an end.
The Honey Birdette brand was founded by entrepreneur Eloise Monaghan in Brisbane in 2006. The United States site was launched by the entrepreneur after online sales in the United States increased 374 percent within a year. The new platform has been designed to enhance the experience of every individual. They have added features including a faster delivery a larger range of products for customers in the United States and easier returns.
Honey Birdette is planning on pursuing retail openings in the United States as well as increasing their stores in the United Kingdom. The first store located outside of Australia opened in London’s Covent Garden and was soon followed with stores in Westfield White City and Leeds’ Victoria Gate. An additional ten stores are on the horizon in the United Kingdom including Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds and Westfield Stratford. Honey Birdette’s home market is in Australia when the company has 55 stores and Europe is being considered as a location in the future.
Honey Birdette originally started when two good friends shared a glass of champagne. Their inability to find luxurious accessories for the bedroom and sexy lingerie prompted them to begin their own business. They wanted to offer lingerie with beautiful detailing and high end bedroom toys. Their pleasure parlor became everything any individual could be seeking.
