Asia is known to have countries with large populations, to take advantage of this, McDonald established 10 Chinese facilities that deal with poultry.
OSI group also acquired Flagship Europe which was a subsidiary of Flagship Food Group. This move improved their dominance in the Europe market through provision of different products like sous vide products, poultry and mayonnaise. In the US, OSI acquired Tyson Foods which is a Chicago-based company and this expanded their dominance in the local markets. The move to retain the workforce of the company acquired by OSI ensured a smooth transition and is an ethical move since the employees maintain their jobs.
